About Dr Elizabeth Muir

Elizabeth’s involvement in psychosomatic infertility, pregnancy and childbirth derives from her interests in psychosomatics going back thirty years ago when she wrote her first dissertation on ‘The Psychosomatic Patterns of Human Response to Stress’. 

Dr Muir continues to specialise in helping women who have "unexplained infertility", who desperately want babies but who fail to get pregnant, by treating them with a specially designed programme involving a combination of hypnotherapeutic and psychological interventions.  She works closely with obstetricians, endocrinologists, nutritionists and other therapists specialised in the natural enhancement of fertility, pregnancy and childbirth.  In fact, the successes of her fertility programme have been featured in articles across the national media.

Presently Elizabeth is working on her first book and anticipates this work to be completed by the end of 2007.

Being a mother herself Elizabeth understands the longing for motherhood.  She openly states that her own life would be incomplete without her two daughters.  Elizabeth appreciates what is like to wait for conception, having had her children later in life.  Ultimately it is through her own experiences that she has chosen to help others.
